we’ve been waiting for you.
Maybe not you specifically. But someone like you.
The coach who sees more than a hockey player.
The coach who knows that the greatest victories aren’t always on a scoreboard.
The coach who understands that what you say to a child today might stay with them for the rest of their life.
We’re the junior players at HC Knole Park.
There are more than 150 of us.
Every week we turn up because we love hockey. We arrive early. We stay late. We ask for one more go.
We want to learn. We want to improve. We push each other. We encourage each other. We care about our teammates.
Some of us dream big. All of us want a coach who believes we can achieve more than we think we can.
That’s why we’re writing this.
Not because we need someone to run training sessions. Because we need someone who wants to make a difference.
Someone who isn’t interested in doing things simply because everyone else does. Someone who is prepared to challenge us, inspire us and help us discover what’s possible.
Someone who knows that coaching children isn’t just about creating better hockey players.
It’s about creating confident young people. Resilient young people. Kind young people.
Young people who learn that effort matters, teamwork matters and believing in yourself matters.
If you’re looking for just another coaching role, this probably isn’t it.
But if you’re looking for a chance to shape the lives of 150 young people who love hockey, who work hard, who listen, who are hungry to learn and who will give everything they’ve got…
We’ve been waiting for you.
We can’t promise every pass will be perfect. We can’t promise we’ll never lose.
But we can promise that if you invest in us, we’ll give everything we have in return.
