HC Knole Park’s Women’s 2nd team won Invicta Division 5 with a resounding undefeated season! The team from Knole Park won every match scoring an amazing 174 goals and only conceding three.
In the closing matches of the season there were a number of notable performances from the team including convincing wins against the other top teams in the league: 8-0 against 2nd placed Herne Bay 3s (Goals from Emily B 3, Sarah 2, LJ, Farrah, and Georgie), and a 14-0 win against 3rd placed Blackheath and Elthamians 4s (Goals from Aurelia 3, Sarah 3, Liliya 2, Imogen, Emily B, LJ, Charlotte B, and Cara), as well as a 14-0 win over Bromley & Beckenham 5s (Aurelia 5, Evie W 3, Mali 3, Georgie 2, Imogen 2, Ella W and Sarah).
The top scorers for the team were Aurelia with 17 goals, Mali and Evie W with 13, Farrah and Sarah both with 12 goals and Emily B with 10 goals.
This is the team’s second promotion in two seasons and sees the team move up to South-East Invicta Division 4 for 2023/24 which is a tremendously exciting new level for Knole Park and one that all the club are looking forward to.
