22nd September: England Hockey Update

GUIDANCE FOR MEMBERS

Please read these guidelines carefully, they are for the safety of everyone.

England Hockey has now announced we are at Step 5 which means Full Competitive Match play can resume. However, as soon as play stops players have to maintain 2m distance.

PLEASE WORK WITH US

Please work with us to ensure that the guidelines are being followed so that we can all be safe. We will be reviewing advice and will make necessary changes if we feel the guidance is not being followed.
We will continue to follow Government and EH guidance and will be prepared to curtail or expand our activities at short notice should there be any changes to the Covid-19 situation.

Please adhere to the RULE OF 6, off the pitch participants and spectators must remain in socially distanced (2m) groups of no more than 6 people. Each group must be clearly separate from another and not mix. This includes whilst spectating, waiting to access the pitch, if you are having a team talk, after you have finished your session/match and left the pitch and when you're waiting for your children.

If you experience any covid-19 symptoms or test positive for covid-19, are asked to self-isolate or are living in a household with a possible covid-19 infection, please stay at home and contact HCKP’s covid-19 officer Catherine Medlen as soon as possible at hckp.welfare@gmail.com. HCKP will report any incidents of Covid-19 to England Hockey.

TRACKING AND TRACING

EVERYONE playing, coaching, umpiring or spectating now has to register. To do this you will need to download the NHS Covid-19 app and register at every training, match or event by scanning

our NHS QR code. This code will be on display at every venue, every venue has it's own code.
