HC Knole Park’s Men’s 1st team make a great start to the season!
In the first match of the season Knole Park played Blackheath. In a great game Duncan scored an excellent hat-trick, including a sublime solo effort and two penalty corners. Dave picked up two goals and Ollie scored the sixth as the young Knole Park side ran out 6-2 winners for the opening three points of the season.
In match two it was a very close contest as Folkestone came to Knole Park. It was Duncan who opened the scoring with a trademark penalty corner, before Dave doubled the advantage smashing the ball into the goal. 2-0. In the second half both sides had opportunities to score and both goalkeepers played very well. Folkestone did however score three times before Duncan scored another penalty corner and then set up Dave for his second and the match winner! 4-3 to Knole Park it finished in the pouring rain!
The team travel to Sutton Valence next week to try and make it three from three!
